Get Involved
At Faraja, our aim is to support anyone affected by Cancer – be it patients, carers or other like-minded support groups. In order to offer this support, we need all the help we can get, so whether you’re an individual, a business, a therapist or a member of the medical community, you can help make a difference at Faraja.
Desk Volunteers:
Faraja Cancer Support relies on the support we get from our volunteers. Anyone who can give us 1-3 hours of their time per week can help out. You don’t have to have any specific skills or qualifications; all we ask is that our volunteers are enthusiastic about our cause and dedicated to our patients.

Other Individuals:
Faraja Cancer Support aims to provide much more than free treatments and support to cancer patients; we want to raise awareness of cancer in Kenya, build the capacity of all those involved in the cancer field, and establish ourselves as a knowledge hub on cancer information. You can help out by:
- Spreading the word - telling people about the work we do will help us get the support and recognition we need to reach out to those affected by cancer or working in cancer-related professions
- Attend events at Faraja and let us know you are interested in our work
- Donate what you can afford whenever you can afford it
